Message Center

Website users can send messages to other registered users and to groups they belong to. Authorized users and staff can also send mass communication to multiple groups or all users.  Messages can be sent by email or as Pl@za instant messages or to the recipient's choice of receipt. 
 

Initiating message

Users can set their business cards to allow sending emails directly from their IBC, even if the email address is kept private (i.e. not disclosed to other users). In addition, users can send messages directly from their Buddy List.  From My Services and the tools menu, users can access the message center as needed. For events with online registrations, event orgainzers can communicate directly to all registered attendees or directly to the targeted potential attendees not yet registered. 
 
Writing a message is simple, just select users, write or copy and past text to the message field, which allows formatting options and adding links and pictures, and send it.  Attachments can also be added to email messages.
 

Receiving message

Messages received in the Message Center will flag users upon login with an envelope icon and will show them on My Services page.  Unread messages can be read and a response sent directly from the message.
 
Please see below picture of a sample of sending a message.  Note that clicking on the picture will not perform any function.
