An integrated Teamware Pl@za Survey service offers an easy-to-use tool for gathering opinions through user surveys and polls. Surveys can be short or long (e.g. 5 to 50 questions) sets of questions and/or feedback fields where users take time to respond to them. Polls are short 1 or 2 quick multiple-choice selections which are typically presented on website home page or home pages of subsites, communities, extranets and intranets.
Publishing surveys
Survey organizers publish surveys or polls to specific group or groups where only members of which can see them and are allowed to respond to them, or make them publically available. They also set the expiration date after which surveys will not be available, options for linking responses to respondents or keeping them anonymous and creating the actual questions. Questions can be set to be mandatory and they can be formatted with pulldown or check list answers, one or multi-answer responses, numeric answers with min. and max. values allowed or one or multi-line free text answers.
